Scheduling and Sharing
Plan dates and resources, confirm shifts and share only the client-safe schedule.
Open Schedule for the company view, or the job for its planned dates, stages and crew bookings. Planning uses the company business date. Owners and admins manage stage definitions, dependencies, rescheduling and bookings; planned job dates use the existing job-edit permissions. A booking never grants access to the job.
Add stages and planned dates. Finish-to-start dependencies belong to the same job: the next stage starts after its predecessor finishes. Missing dates remain unresolved warnings, not invented dates. Reported and verified completion remain separate from planned dates.
When dates change, review a stage or job shift preview before confirming. Dependent-stage shifts require explicit selection and confirmation; nothing cascades automatically. Conflicts and previous/new dates remain visible in history. Refresh and review again if someone changed the schedule before confirmation.
Book named crew or company users on jobs and optional stages. Review overlapping bookings and dates outside the planned job window. Bookings are plans, not field hours, payroll or costs; compare them with actual field records in the labor overview. Future bookings are not treated as missing records.
Completed jobs allow planned-date changes until formal financial closeout. Cancelled or formally closed-out jobs stay locked. Updating dates never changes the budget, actual costs, revenue or cash.
Owners and admins can create a live, read-only schedule link with optional expiry and revoke it later. Anyone holding a valid link needs no account. The link shows only company/job display names, planned dates, stage names, dates and statuses, and last-updated information—not workers, bookings, logs, blockers, private notes or financial records.
Export a client-safe schedule PDF independently of a public link. The PDF is a copy at export time; the live link reads the current allowed schedule. Copy and send links yourself; WhatsApp sharing requires your own recipient selection and send confirmation. Do not rely on automatic client schedule emails: external delivery is currently held off.
Project Updates are different: you select field evidence, review it and publish a frozen numbered version. Later job changes do not change that update, while a live schedule link reflects permitted current dates and statuses. Expiring or revoking a link stops future online access; it cannot recall a PDF or message already sent.
