Getting started
What should I set up first?
Your account, your company and the shortest path to a first proposal.
Use this right after signing up. Your user account is you: your email, password and interface language. A company workspace holds the estimates, proposals, jobs, team and settings. Each company has its own data, region and currency.
1. Create your company and confirm its operating country, currency and units in Account → Regional settings.
2. Optional: add your target margin and loaded labor rate in Your Numbers. You can price an estimate without them; they only give new estimates a better starting point.
3. Create your first estimate in Estimates, then review the price and Profit Guard. 4. Create a proposal from it, finalize it and share it with your customer.
Verify: Home shows your setup progress from records that actually exist (company, first estimate, first proposal) and which optional values are still missing. Nothing counts as done just because you opened a screen.
After your first proposal you can record acceptance, create a job and track costs against its baseline. Financial Management is optional and turned on separately; you don't need it to estimate, propose or run jobs.
Public calculators need no account. Saving estimates, Your Numbers and job records requires signing in to a company workspace.
